“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
We like words, so much so that we’ve recently published a book (Voices Matter) that is full of words. And yet there are times that a photograph can convey a message more effectively than words.
For example, there is a common perception that the Jane-Finch area is a concrete corridor, all pavement and buildings.
The photograph above suggests the perception is not the reality. This bridge is located in Derrydown Park, behind the York Woods Library. Yes, there are green spaces in Jane-Finch. We’ll try to show you more of them over time.
