Where’s my Ward?

The City of Toronto has divided the area known as Jane-Finch among three Wards. The “crossroads” where these three boundaries meet is located just minutes south of the Jane-Finch intersection, over by the three way traffic lights at Jane and Grandravine. The largest portion of Jane-Finch is located in Ward 8.  For example, it includes everything north of Finch all the way up to Steeles.

WARD 7

The Humber River marks the ward’s west border, Steeles Avenue West makes up the northern border across to Highway 400. The boundary cuts east across Finch to Jane Street and heads south down to Highway 401, which marks the southern border.

WARD 8

Steeles Avenue West makes up the northern border going west to Highway 400.  The western boundary goes down the Highway, along Finch Avenue West and down Jane Stree until Grandravine, which makes up the southern boundary until it reaches Keele Street.  It goes down Keele over to Sheppard Avenue West until Dufferin, which is the eastern boundary going north to Steeles.

WARD 9

Jane Street marks the ward’s boundary down to Highway 401, which marks the southern limit.  The Allen Expressway is the eastern boundary going north to Sheppard Avenue West to Keele Street and west along Grandravine Drive.
